Rock bolting is used to strengthen the bedrock. There are different types of bolts available, and the bolt type is always chosen in accordance with the site-specific properties. Bolts or anchors are drilled into the rock to support the structures being built. Bolting prevents cave-ins and strengthens structures. Reinforcement bolting is especially suitable for tunnels and open cuttings to support the bedrock, while anchor bolting is mostly used for ensuring the stability of buildings
