Jiitee Työt participates in the construction of a solar farm in Kalanti, one of the largest in Finland. The site proved to be challenging at the beginning, but close collaboration with the developer and flexibility have helped Jiitee’s team take a big step forward in the project.
The Parainten mine, owned by Nordkalk Oy, excavates limestone in an open-pit. JIITEE Työt excavated and reinforced a 340-meter tunnel for the mine as the operation expanded.
In Finland, the final disposal of nuclear waste refers to the final disposal in crystalline bedrock, which most of the Finnish bedrock constitutes. JIITEE Työt has participated in the construction project of Posiva’s nuclear fuel disposal facility by carrying out the reinforcement work of the capsule shaft.
Kittilä is home to Europe’s largest gold mine with an annual production of approximately 7,000 kilos of gold. JIITEE Työt has carried out surface mesh and rock reinforcement work at the mine.
Wind turbines and their demand are constantly growing, and to build wind turbines at all, the foundation work must be done with high quality. JIITEE Työt has been working on wind turbine foundations for Suvic Oy’s projects for a couple of years.
